The following is a list of standard courses and security roles associated with the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System. The schedule of classes is posted in LMS. If your organization has training needs beyond the normally scheduled classes, please contact us right away. We will work with your team to meet your training needs. 

Class formats are:

  • Online, live Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)
  • Self-directed Web-Based Training (WBT).

NOTE: There will be no admittance to VILT classes 30 minutes after the session start time.
NOTE: A student must have the required software of SAP GUI loaded on their machines ahead of the class date.

BJ500wbt is intended to provide participants with an overview of the Business Object Report Scheduler Tool as well as the knowledge needed to operate the Tool Controls.

BN200 - Benefits Display Overview

BN200 provides agency core HR users with the ability to display personal data pertaining to employee and family basic enrollment information for insurance elections and benefits.

BOBJ Reporting Tool Prerequisites

Business Objects, also known as BOBJ, is a suite of front-end applications from SAP that allow business users to view, sort, and analyze business intelligence data.  This course is a web-based training that is split up into three sections.

BOBJ410 - Business Objects WEBI Design Mode Component

Business Objects (BOBJ) is a suite of reporting tools that is an efficient and effective means of providing knowledge and oversight to agencies on Human Resource processes and key performance indicators.  It allows business users to view, sort and analyze business intelligence data.  In this course you will learn BOBJ report navigation, the functionality of the WEBI Design Mode component within BOBJ, and how to run BOBJ reports in the production environment.

OM200 provides agency HR users with a high level overview of organization management - structure, associated objects, and infotypes.

OSC500 - Training & Introduction Overview

This course will prepare you to take additional Web Based and Instructor Led classes in the Integrated HR-PY system curriculum. These classes satisfy required training to obtain security roles pertaining to your position.

OSC501 - Introduction to Payroll Calendar

This course will inspect the State's payroll calendar, where to find it and how to interpret it.

PA210 - PA Terms, Concepts and Display Data

PA210 is intended to provide participants with the terms, concepts, knowledge and skills associated with SAP ERP Personnel Administration as well as displaying an employee's personnel information.

PA309 - Introduction to Create and Maintain Employee Data

PA309 will introduce participants to the PA Infotypes.

PA310 - Create and Maintain Employee Data

PA310 provides the method of creating new employee data and updating existing employee data in SAP. Also included are discussions on how history is created.

PA313 will explain how personnel administration infotypes affect time, benefits, and payroll. Participants will also learn to modify existing employee data and identify options to access reports.

PA321 provides participants with the skills to define key terms and concepts about Grievances, create and maintain Grievances, and identify how to access Grievance reports.

PA370 provides users with the skills to update Leaves of Absence with and without leave.

PA420 - Leave of Absence

Various reasons for leave of absence will be discussed in PA420. Participants will learn to execute a leave of absence and then reinstate an employee from leave.

TM230 web-based training (WBT) is intended to provide participants with an overview of the terms, concepts, knowledge and skills associated with the Time Management functions in the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System.

TM300 provides Time Administrators with the ability to describe time roles and responsibilities, record, review, correct, and approve time in the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System.

TM310 provides Leave Administrators with the ability to perform leave administration in the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System.

TM330 - Charge Object Maintainer

TM330 is intended to provide agency Charge Object Maintainers with the concepts, knowledge, and skills associated with the basic processes related to uploading and maintaining Charge Objects.

TM340 provides the terms, concepts, knowledge, and skills associated with the Received Shared Leave function in the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System.

WF220 - SAP Workflow for Approvers

WF220 is designed to teach the student the workflow process, including the tasks related to both the workflow initiator and approver, as well as to demonstrate the workflow tools and inbox.  This class is targeted specifically at HR Approvers at both the Agency and Division Level.
